You can use this syrup to prepare kirs with some dry white wine, some cremant or some champagne; it will do well with a duck breast, lamb ribs, strips of pig or chicken fried in the wok mixed with small crisp vegetables.

The saffron syrup of Quercy is great with turbo fish or trout in the oven. It is also delicious with goat cheese. For dessert, it will coat pancakes, waffles, poached pear, vanilla ice cream and "crème brûlée"

Ingredients: syrup of sugar, infusion of saffron (0,5 %), acidifying: citric, conservative acid: E211.
