Alsace Wine

The Alsatian Black Pinot was always a light and fresh wine in the aromas of cherry, raspberry and blackberries and in the melted tannins. Nevertheless, It is more and more aged in oak barrels, producing a deeper and more robust wine, in the steady color and in the aromas evoking mature fruits or leather. 

Characteristics : Dress ruby, frank and steady. Note of pleasant red fruits (strawberry, raspberry). In mouth : circle, in the discreet tannins and a good final aromatic obstinacy.

Culinary Agreements : More generally, the Black Pinots of Alsace get married to white meats and poultry, certain cheeses and, because red wines of Alsace are not too tannic, why not to associate them with fishes !
