Valley of the Rhône Wine

Laurus : Prestigious Range of Gabriel Meffre, wine LAURUS was created for the quintessence of Vintage wines of the Coast of the Rhône and the Valley of the Rhône. These wines arise only from plots of land of old vineyards selected with the biggest care. The wine making is made under strict control of the temperatures and the breeding is made in barrels of new oak "Laurus" of a only volume of 275 liters, Capacity of the former "Half-tail of Vaucluse".
The range declines in Coast of the Rhône, Rasteau, Cairanne, Gigondas, Séguret, Vinsobres, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Vacqueyras, Lirac, Folded, Crozes-Hermitage, Hermitage, Condrieu, Saint Joseph, Rôtie Coast and Tavel.

Vine : Syrah

Characteristics : A beautiful intense, almost black purple color. A nose on notes of small red fruits and spices. In mouth, tannins are powerful, typical of the AOC, giving scale and generosity to the wine.

Culinary Agreements : Accompany spits of kidneys, pheasant, ham in the port, the meal in truffles or in mushrooms.
