Bourgogne red Wine

In Bourgogne, the notion of soil is a wide concept which contains at once natural factors and human factors. It is indeed the wine growers, helped sometimes by the work of the monks that discovered, identified then emphasized soils. It was necessary for it centuries of labour so that this concept, the origin of which goes back up at the beginning of the Middle Ages, crosses the time  and is officially recognized and described in the middle of the century crossed with the creation of the I.N.A.O. and the labels of origin.

Today, later more than 1000 years, the soil continues to assert itself in Bourgogne as a modern concept copied all over the world because it represents and vehicle of the values of origin, authenticity, tradition and typical expensive to the consumers.
